Returns and Warranty Policy
Returns & Warranty Policy
At HAM MADE PRODUCTS LLC, we build gear we'd want to own — and we back it the way we'd want to be treated. Our policy is written to be fair to you and sustainable for a small American hardware shop. No fine print, no runaround.
30-Day Returns — Any Reason
Changed your mind? Not what you expected? You don't have to explain yourself.
|
When you return it |
What you get back |
|
Within 5 days of delivery |
Full refund minus $5 restocking fee |
|
Days 6–30 after delivery |
Full refund minus a 15% restocking fee |
The restocking fee after day 5 covers payment processing, inspection and re-testing, replacement of consumable parts, repackaging, and support time — real costs we absorb on every return.
To qualify, the unit must be:
-
In complete, working condition
-
Returned with all included accessories
-
Packed well enough to survive the trip back (original box preferred)
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of the unit arriving and passing inspection.
1-Year Hardware Warranty
Every Allnode is covered for one full year from delivery against hardware defects.
If something fails, we make it right at no cost to you. Depending on the failure, that means either a brand-new replacement unit after you ship us your broken device, or we ship you the specific part (an MMDVM board, for example) so you can swap it in and get back on the air fast — usually the quicker fix.
A defect is never your fault, so you'll never pay a fee for one. If a defective unit shows up inside the first 5 days and you'd rather just be done with it, we'll refund you in full — no restocking fee.
What the warranty doesn't cover:
-
Damage from transmitting without an antenna or into a high-SWR load
-
Liquid damage, lightning, or power surges
-
Use with an incorrect or out-of-spec power supply
-
Physical damage, drops, or crush damage
-
Modified hardware, or damage caused by third-party firmware flashed to the board
Normal setup, configuration, and software experimentation are always covered — you can't void your warranty by tinkering with the dashboard.
Starting a Return or Warranty Claim
Email support@k0nnk.com with your order number and a short description of the issue. You'll hear back from a real person — the same person who built your node.
Most "broken" units turn out to be a five-minute config fix, so reach out before you box anything up. We'd rather get you on the air than get your unit back.
